As the owner of R & D Home Improvements, Richard Daniel Burnham has 30 years of
building experience. He is often referred to in the community, and by clients, as a "go
getter", "hard worker", and a "non stop professional". R & D always works a 6 day week. It
is not uncommon for Richard to work a 7 day week, into the nights, just to be sure a project
doesn't fall behind schedule or simply because he has a passion for the work that he does.

Our Team
R & D has an experienced crew on staff (employees) that specialize in framing, roofing,
painting, siding and finished carpentry. The R & D crew provides a quality product and
service second to none. You may often see these R & D craftsman diligently working all
over the North Shore area building new homes, renovating older ones, repairing roofs, or
building decks, for example, as these are some of our recent projects.
We have excellent relationships with many experienced contractors i.e. plumbers,
electricians, masons, and excavators from the north shore, as well as outside the north
shore area, to bring to you the best talent available. Because we have long term
relationships with these talented subcontractors we can work closely with them and this gets
you the best rate available as well as helps your project meet important deadlines.
